We’re Baaack!

The Browns are back and it’s taken some time but we’re back too. There will be regular comments updated weekly.

Our current post is a brief review of the Falcons game on October 10.

Enjoy!

Braylon Needed the Boot

After reading some of the local columnists, Braylon Edwards got what he wanted and the Browns got what they wanted – to get rid of Edwards. Edwards had one good season and that was it. He always thought he should not have been in Cleveland and thought the problems he suffered on the field (albeit 2007) was not his fault.

It was because he was from Michigan or the quarterbacks or the line or the other receivers or the…well you get it.

Edwards acted like a kid, never accepting responsibility for his own actions.

The latest off-field incident with LeBron’s friend was the proverbial straw for the coaching staff and management. Did the Browns get anything good? They got rid of a problem. That was good. Good luck to the Jet.

Mike Tannenbaum, NY Jets GM said he was excited to add Edwards to the team. Although he gave up a couple of players, he thought it was best for the team. Tannenbaum said the trade just took a long time and that the incident on Sunday really had nothing to do with the trade. The risk of taking Edwards was reasonable and manageable said Tannenbaum.

Tannenbaum also said if there is any discipline from the league or law enforcement, they will fully cooperate.

Good-bye and good luck Braylon.
